About Summer Dior Fuller, MA

Summer Fuller is a Beauty and Style Maven who has worked in the cosmetics industry for over a decade. A successful management career with MAC afforded her the opportunity to work in both Los Angeles, CA and Atlanta, GA where she was able to work with many celebrities to include, Natalie “The Floacist” Stewart, Rozanda “Chili” Thomas  and L.L. Cool J. to name a few.   A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Summer also served as the make up artist to the 24th National President, Cynthia M. A. Butler-McIntyre.  She was a key make up artist for Steve Harvey’s popular dating series “Locate Your Love” and her work has been published in Jet Magazine, Ebony Magazine, and on Essence.com.

 

Summer also has worked in both San Diego and Atlanta, GA for Social Justice.  Following the 2010 "Compton Cookout" at her undergraduate alma mater UCSD, Summer worked with students, faculty, staff and community leadership on the "Do U C Us" campaign aimed at bettering the campus climate for Black students on UC campuses in general and at UCSD in particular.  She also worked and continues to work on retention and recruitment committees aimed at reaching African American students.  While living in Atlanta, GA Summer worked with the National Action Network (NAN) and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) addressing issues that faced the Black Community, and in 2013 she was a participant in the 50th Anniversary and Commemoration of the March on Washington, serving as the assistant to activist Dr. Joseph L. Williams. Summer currently serves on the board of Faith Leaders for Reproductive Justice, and is a partner with the Religious Coalition Of Reproductive Choice.

 

Ordained minister and founder of World ChangeHER, Summer works daily in service to her community and has a heart for women and youth of color.  She holds a Bachelors in Psychology from UCSD, a masters in Human Services Counseling, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in Transformational Leadership.
