About Pastor Noel Mitchell

Noell Mitchell is a San Diego Native. She grew up in City Heights in an inner-city subdivision of  San Diego, Ca. Her Dad took her to church as a small child and Mom was a non-believer so consequently in her Jr High years she drifted from God. In the midst of growing up in the city, she succumbed to the pressures of inner-city life. But God kept up his pursuit over her life. One day Jesus left the 99 for the 1. She was that lost sheep. The rest is history.

 

Noell is very passionate about Jesus. Her desire to wake up every morning and chase after Jesus every day. She loves being involved with Women’s Ministry. She helps women get saved, helps to show them how to live holy and disciples them to be used by God.

 

She’s currently a Pastor at The Rock Church at the City Heights campus. Pastor Noell is a Community Chaplain, serving at Grossmont Community College and also her neighbors in her Condominium Community where she lives. She leads the Pastoral Support Team ministry, where she teaches and disciples the leaders and lei Pastors at the Rock Church. She is also a leader in the Womens Ministry of a Women’s group for Single Mom’s Called C.H.O.S.E.N.

 

Pastor Noell is currently pursuing her degree in Communications at Grossmont College and she plans to transfer to UCSD to obtain her Bachelors. She is also in the process of completing a Drug and Alcohol Certification at UCSD to get her certification as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor to work with women in addiction.

 

Noell is a mother of 3 beautiful young men 25 year old, 22 year old and 14 year old. She loves to preach and teach God's word. She loves Rollerskating at the skating rink and bike riding at the beach in her free time! Most of all she loves spending time with the Lord!
